The underside of the Mini Mal can be shaped to give different characteristics such as a vee will iron out choppy conditions and concaves liven up the board for better performance in difficult condtions. Stand near the fins and you will get tight turns together with very accurate performance all this means the Mini Mal is a great all round surfboard.

When you go surfing the biggest problem apart from standing-up on the board is going to be transporting your surfboard to the beach as most surfboards are quite long. If you drive a pickup truck it might not be a problem but most people don’t own a pickup, so the best alternative is going to be Surfboard racks, these racks carry surfboards on the top of your vehicle and come in a variety of designs and styles depending on what type you want and how many boards you need to carry.

Surfboard racks come in three different designs the most expensive is the locking surfboard rack which is great for security of your boards as you can lock your boards into the rack for added security preventing theft. The fixed surfboard rack is a rack which you can perminantly attach to your vehicle, once attached all you have to do is load the rack with your boards and away you go, this is great for frequent surfers. The last type of surfboard rack is the soft surfboard rack which is just like a bag with straps which you attach to the roof of the vehicle each time you want to go surfing. This is also a great option if you are just hiring a vehicle or you dont want a rack permanently attached to the roof of your vehicle.
