High pressure water can be used in a variety of different ways in both agricultural and industrial uses to improve the efficiency and quality of daily operations. The method employed involves misting systems that can either cool the immediate area or increase the humidity of an environment.

A high pressure misting system uses quality brass misting nozzles to disperse a fine water mist into the air. The water droplets that are created are tiny with their size measured in microns and they float around in the air until they eventually evaporate. Before evaporation occurs the water droplets perform their job in the case of a humidity controlling misting system. The moisture content in the air is increased and is a valuable tool in the greenhouse as well as in the storage of perishable foods.

Because the water droplets evaporate before they hit the ground there will be no feeling of wetness in the environment. The plants in a greenhouse benefit from any of the moisture that is absorbed through the leaves and by adding fertilizer solutions to the water it is a handy way of feeding the plants too.

Flash evaporation is a process where the water droplets evaporate as soon as they are released into the atmosphere. This process results in a cooling effect for the immediate environment without an accompanying dampening effect. This is a very effective way of creating an outdoor air conditioning system that is used in the agricultural field to help keep livestock cool.

In recent times outdoor air conditioning using misting systems have also been adapted for use by restaurants for outdoor diners. A system has also been created for domestic use that can be installed on patios or other outdoor lounging areas. By placing a misting system around the outskirts of the patio it is possible to turn the area into a comfortably cool place to sit on even the hottest of days.

The big advantage of using these misting systems is that they are relatively inexpensive to install and are even cheaper to run on a regular basis. We should expect to see a growing number of misting systems in use in an even wider number of locations as the technology is developed and the scope broadened.
