How To Design Wedding Invitations For Your Wedding
Wedding invitations are one of the most important facets of your wedding. Not only is it a way to invite people to your wedding and give them a chance to respond, but it is also going to be yet another item that is going to have your custom design or wedding theme on them.
You have two choices when it comes to design wedding invitations; you can either make them yourself which takes a lot of time and effort or you can go to a store that either sells invitation or will design wedding invitations for you.
You should already have a good idea of what your theme or colors are going to be for most everything else in your wedding, so this should be an easier aspect if you have everything else already planned out ahead of time. So if you choose a beach theme with blues and tans, your designed wedding invitations should be blue and tan as well.
Aside from colors, you can also choose from an assortment of font and color styles for the wording on the invitations as well. This really gives you a chance to fully customize everything! You can also choose to forgo colorful wedding invitations that will match your theme and instead choose to go with black and white wedding invites as well which give the invitations a more classical or traditional feel.
When you design wedding invitations you want the color theme to reflect on your wedding theme, but you also want specific information to be on the invitations as well such as full names of the bride and groom, date of the wedding, time, address or location of ceremony, where and when the reception is, what attire the guests should wear, etc.
It is also important that you send these out a few months before the wedding so that people can arrange to come to your wedding! The reply card should include finalized details of the guests such as their names, if they will be attending, how many people are coming with them, and their meal of choice (if offered).
