School administrators have a lot of nerve. I mean, it’s bad enough that you’re forced to attend school every day, and you have to ask their permission to quit, but they also have the nerve to restrict what websites you can visit while you’re stuck there. Seriously, you’d think that once they have you there, they’d at least try to get you to WANT to stay, right?

Apparently not. So, school is basically prison with restricted internet. Thankfully, getting past the internet filter is a lot easier than getting your parents to homeschool or unschool you, so I’ll tell you how to fix your internet woes.

What you need is a school proxy site. Finding one is easy, finding one that works might not be so easy. But once you have one that works, you basically visit the proxy, tell it which website you’d like to go to, and it will visit that site on your behalf, download the page and all the pictures and scripts and things, and pass them on to you. This way, the school admins (who, by the way, can spy on your computer use at any time and see what you’ve been visiting), will only see you accessing the proxy and not the destination site.

This is how people unblock Facebook at school, or any other website. Like I said, though, finding a proxy that actually works might not be so easy. School admins are always on the lookout for new proxies to block. Yeah, they really don’t want you to be having ANY fun whatsoever while at prison. I mean at school. Whatever, same thing.

So, when you do find a working proxy, try to keep it a secret as much as you can so that it won’t get blocked so quickly. As soon as it gets blocked you’ll have to find another one to replace it.
