After working hard most people want to enjoy a break, whether it is a short weekend away or their annual family holiday. The stress of travelling abroad can reduce the benefits of taking time out, especially when you factor in airport delays and even flight cancellations. So for a special break, many people are now opting for luxury UK self catering holidays.

Once you start looking into the market it isn’t hard to see why. Log cabins in particular seem to have captured it all.
To wake up to the beautiful scenery surrounding your accommodation is truly refreshing and as these are detached properties you will be assured of your privacy as you enjoy the calming and quiet environment.

But you also want your accommodation to really allow you to relax and pamper yourself during your stay. In the luxury end of the market this is very easy to achieve. Most log cabin holiday properties will have excellent home entertainment systems to amuse all members of the family. Either whilst you prepare to go out for the day or, if you choose to stay in and admire the quiet setting.

Many people actually find it difficult to tear themselves away, especially when you can pour yourself a cool drink and sit back on the decking and just take some time out. But as most also have bbq’s an entire evening can be passed just enjoying each others company over a simple meal and then perhaps a spell in the hot tub.

Although some people are concerned about the weather if they stay in the UK, this really isn’t an issue. There will be many local attractions to visit, whatever the weather, and most people just enjoy the luxury surroundings. Even in cooler weather the under floor heating will ensure your comfort at all times.
