For ladies, the pink netbook and pink laptop have grown to be real favorites.  The popularity of these computers with the female gender has been amazing.  Deciding between the two can be rather difficult for many.

Are you having a hard time trying to decide, which one would be best for your needs?  Then here is a look at the fundamental differences between the two.  Consider these differences in your selection process for either a pink netbook or pink laptop.

Perhaps, a good way to view a netbook is to consider it to be a scaled down version of a laptop.  Some people like the terminology of a compact laptop.  The two most beloved features it sports are indeed lightweight and small size.  For those possessing a need to carry one on a frequent basis, then these features are a real plus.

Netbooks were basically designed to meet basic computer requirements of owners.  These computers cannot effectively run resource intensive applications.  General computing requirements, such as surfing the web, emailing, multi-media needs and basic applications will be fine.  A cheaper price tag is certainly an attractive advantage, especially when the budget is tight.

As far as screen size goes, generally this will be between 7-10 inches.  Also, expect to have lower resolution.  It also tends to have a keyboard that is smaller in size, as compared to a laptop.  This could be a problematic issue for people who happen to have large hands.

A solid-state drive is frequently found on these computers, as opposed to the traditional hard drive.  Solid-state drives are smaller, which translates into lighter weight.

Generally, there is not a lot of upgrading capability afforded in these systems.  However, for those with basic computing requirements and need a stylish lightweight computer to carry around, pink netbooks should be considered.
