Cowering or shrinking away from any opportunity to become a leader is nothing new. A lot of people don’t always relish having to take charge, whether it’s because they believe themselves incapable of the responsibility or because they think that being a leader is a difficult and thankless job. It’s a perfectly understandable attitude, although one that isn’t helpful if you want your company or business to succeed and need the cooperation of forward-thinking and take-charge personalities.
