If you are looking to buy a gift for your teenage daughter, then a parfum spray might be just the thing to get. There is nothing like perfume to make a girl feel mature and sophisticated, and she is sure to be pleased with a new one as a gift. But how to choose? It’s hard enough to pick out a perfume for anyone else, but making a selection for a teenager seems to present more of a challenge.

The first thing you should realize is that you can’t try it out on yourself. Perfumes don’t smell the same on every person who puts them on, in fact they will always smell different, as they mix with one’s individual body chemistry to produce a unique scent. While they’ll smell similar, it’s not the same, so don’t judge based on how it smells when you try it on your own wrist.

The best way to see how it will smell is to bring along some small strips of paper or card board with you and spray the perfume on that. You will then be smelling just the perfume on it’s own, without any alterations. Of course, it will smell different when she tries it on, but this is the best way to see what it’s like, unless of course you happen to have her with you so that she can try it on herself.
