These days it would be rather odd if you were in a public place and someone was not using their touch screen mobile phone to connect with the rest of the world in some way shape or form. I use the term touch screen mobile simply because it seems that more and more today we are seeing people use touch screen phones as opposed to the traditional flip phones.

These phones are offering services and amenities that we would have never even considered several years ago, and its a wonder that they have become expected today. For instance if we do not get our email on our phone today we feel as if we are disconnected, whereas three years ago the only people getting email on their phone were big time CEO’s and other professionals who could afford such a top of the line service.

In addition to the features that everyone has, their is also the advent of the app store on many phones that can make your life much easier. Take for instance the new app store available on all lg touch screen mobile phones and what you can purchase in there to make your life easier. Everything from pretend lighters, to advanced calendars, and free text message applications, you really can have it all!

Though with all of these advances in technology it becomes necessary to realize that technology can have a rather profound effect on your life and if you let it can actually take it over. With that in mind, many people have begun have technology free days, which allows them one day per week with absolutely no technology. Many use Sundays and say no cell phone, laptop, etc. For me and my business I do not think this is a reasonable way for me to get away from using technology, but when I find a reasonable way I will be sure to put it into use.
