I’ve really found that chests of drawers are a multifunctional piece of furniture serves many purposes in several different rooms of a home. Chest of drawers can be used for storage, looks, or serve as a vanity area for a woman’s make-up or a little girls room. No matter the purpose, there are many sizes to fit everyone’s needs.

Small sets of dressers can be used as a storage compartment in a bathroom or vanity area for makeup, perfumes and other beauty products. Small chests of drawers serve the purpose of hiding items like beauty products to keep them from being all over the place in a bathroom or bedroom. In a bedroom, often most people will have a small night stand on either one or each side of the bed with a small lamp or reading material on it. Having a nightstand, makes items such as reading glasses or daily reminders easily accessible when someone wakes up in the morning; it also provides quick and easy access to light at night or somewhere to place small items before bed.

Medium size dresser sets are often seen in kitchens, hallways, living rooms or family rooms as a multifunctional piece, filling a blank area in any room, providing storage and providing style. Dresser sets in the kitchen may hide important notebooks or recipe books. A medium size dresser in a family room or living room can store media items such as a remote, video game controls, or headsets. A large or tall chest of drawers can function well in bedrooms or a study. Larger chests of drawers provide a significant amount of storage in bedrooms.
